CAVEAT ON THE OSIFA GREAT DEBATE SERIES.
It should be obvious from what has been said above that the OGDS is not about promoting any particular viewpoint, one way or the other, but is rather a standard exercise in the highest traditions of intellectual engagement and discourse, out of which is expected to emerge enlightenment for the society at large on the specific matter under debate. Consequently, the views expressed by the debaters do not necessarily reflect the position of OSIFA or, indeed, of the individual panelists, who have simply taken on the responsibility of ensuring that all possible viewpoints are articulated, for a genuine and comprehensive intellectual engagement.
